Robinhood Chain
Robinhood Chain is an Ethereum-compatible blockchain identified by chain ID 4663 that uses ETH as its gas token and is documented at docs.robinhood.com/chain. Wallets add it as a custom EVM network; smart contracts, ERC-20 tokens and Uniswap-style pools work the same way they do on other EVM chains, and every transaction is readable on the chain's Blockscout explorer.
The term is a network identifier, not a product endorsement. When someone says a token is "on Robinhood Chain," they mean the contract is deployed to chain 4663 — nothing about legitimacy, listings, price support or partnership with Robinhood Markets, Inc. is implied by the network label itself.

Where the term applies
Wallet connection, RPC configuration, gas payment, token contract addresses, block-explorer links, and any dApp that says "connect to Robinhood Chain" all refer to the same network — chain ID 4663 — even when the dApp itself is independent.
How to interpret the label
Treat "Robinhood Chain" as a routing identifier: it tells your wallet which chain to talk to, which RPC to use, and which explorer to consult. It does not tell you whether a specific token, pool, or dApp on that chain is safe or worth trading.
Caveats and disclosures
Nock Terminal is not affiliated with Robinhood Markets, Inc. Chain-level facts (ID 4663, RPC, ETH gas) are stated as they appear in the public docs today; if Robinhood updates the docs, the docs are the source of truth, not this glossary. Nothing here is legal, tax or investment advice.
Concrete example
A user adds Robinhood Chain to MetaMask by importing an EVM network with chain ID 4663 and an RPC URL from the docs. Once added, the wallet shows an ETH balance on chain 4663, and any Uniswap v4 pool deployed to that chain becomes reachable — the wallet does not need any Robinhood-branded application to talk to the network.
Frequently asked questions
Is Robinhood Chain the same as Robinhood the brokerage? No. Robinhood Chain is a public EVM network with chain ID 4663 documented by Robinhood; the brokerage app is a separate US-regulated product. Using chain 4663 does not use a brokerage account. What is the gas token on Robinhood Chain? ETH is the native gas token. Every transaction on chain 4663 pays fees in ETH, exactly like Ethereum mainnet, per the Robinhood Chain docs. Is a token safe just because it is on Robinhood Chain? No. The chain label is a network identifier only. It does not verify supply, ownership, liquidity behaviour or contract intent — always audit the token itself.
