Robinhood Chain Chain ID 4663

Nock Terminal Editorial Team

Robinhood Chain's mainnet chain ID is 4663. Every wallet, RPC call and EIP-155-signed transaction includes this integer so nodes reject transactions destined for a different network. Robinhood's testnet uses a distinct chain ID (46630 at time of writing); mainnet and testnet are separate networks with separate state and separate balances.

This page is a focused reference so you can verify the number in one place before signing or bridging. Robinhood's own documentation is the authoritative source and can change; the visible update date below records when we last checked it.

What a chain ID is

A chain ID is the EIP-155 network identifier that a signed Ethereum-format transaction is bound to. If you sign a transaction with chain ID 4663 and broadcast it to a node serving a different chain, that node rejects it. This is a safety feature, not a bug, and it is why a wallet on the wrong network cannot silently drain your funds onto another chain.

How to verify chain ID 4663

Three cross-checks: (1) open your wallet's network settings and read the chain ID field — the wallet will refuse to sign if this does not match what the RPC returns; (2) send an eth_chainId JSON-RPC request to https://rpc.mainnet.chain.robinhood.com and confirm it returns 0x1237 (hex for 4663); (3) open https://robinhoodchain.blockscout.com and confirm the explorer identifies the network as Robinhood Chain mainnet.

Mainnet 4663 vs testnet 46630

Mainnet and testnet share only naming. Balances, contract state, transaction history and any bridged assets are entirely separate. Testnet ETH has no monetary value. Some third-party tutorials list the testnet ID by mistake — always cross-reference Robinhood's add-network-to-wallet page.

Frequently asked questions

What is the Robinhood Chain mainnet chain ID? 4663. Robinhood's add-network-to-wallet documentation lists this as the mainnet chain ID. What is the Robinhood Chain testnet ID? 46630 at time of writing. Verify against Robinhood's docs before use — testnet parameters can change. Why does my wallet show 0x1237 instead of 4663? 0x1237 is the hexadecimal encoding of 4663 — the same number in a different base. eth_chainId JSON-RPC responses are hex-encoded per Ethereum convention. Can a transaction signed on one chain be replayed on another? EIP-155 chain IDs prevent that when honoured. A transaction signed with chainId 4663 is rejected by any node that is not on chain 4663.
